2022 Building

2018, Doha, Qatar

2022, a year captured in concrete or the moment in time when the whole world looks to Qatar for one the greatest celebrations in sport: the FIFA World Cup Championship. This unique building is a homage to this great moment in time. The facade lighting design aimed to feature the building’s iconic image at night. Indirect lighting was used effectively for the design’s dominant elements: the number outline and the ground floor’s pergolas.
