Seamlessly integrated into the desert landscape, the structure mimics a sand dune. The lighting highlights the crest of the structure with the help of a linear down pointing light that also grazes the sloped facade. Fixtures that have warm white light, narrow beam angles, precise orientation and a low intensities were used to mitigate the unwanted effects of light pollution.
