Al Majed Office Tower

2017, Lusail, Qatar

Situated in Lusail’s Marina district, this office tower has several architectural face elements that are inspired by the old sail boats that were used for pearl diving. Given the green building principles that were used in this building’s design, the facade lighting needed to follow suit. The luminaire selection and position was carefully considered to minimize light spill. There are several elements that are being grazed top to bottom, in order to eliminate any unwanted upward light spill.
